Location
Das Millicanhaus is located in a prime location in Vienna's 9th district which borders the 1st district (city center) to the north. Some location highlights:
- Safe residential neighborhood with grocery stores, bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacy, banks and other necessary services with walking distance.
- Located on the U4 U-bahn line, the Rosseur Lande stop is only a block and a half from the facility. A few blocks in the other direction is the D tram line, which is only one stop off of the famous Ringstrasse.
- Travel times to premier historical and cultural sites in the city center are only 10-15 minutes. Notable others sites in the 9th District include: U.S. Embassy, American Chamber of Commerce, French Embassy, the Vienna Police Academy, Freud Museum, Lichtenstein Museum and Park, Museum of Modern Art, and the Franz Joseph Train Station, just to name a few.
- The nearby Danube Canal and several local parks offer space for walking, jogging or playing soccer.
