Pacific Rim

The Pacific Rim Studies Program is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure as students travel to several
countries across the globe. This program begins every fall semester in China with its famous silk markets, the Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.  It continues in Japan with stops in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima before spending a month living with a host family and attending classes at Ibaraki Christian University.  November and December take a sunnier turn In New Zealand and Australia where students study and serve along with enjoying the beautiful nature and many outdoor activities.

The Pacific Rim program covers the full fall semester which includes one week on campus for orientation.  Students will receive 12-15 hours of academic credit.
