NEW MEDIA PROFESSOR —ONE-YEAR APPOINTMENT

The department of Art and Design at Oklahoma Christian University invites applications for a one-year appointment for the 2008 – 2009 school year.  Exceptional applicants will be encouraged to apply for a tenure track position.

Successful candidates should have a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level and advising departmental majors.   Preferred candidates should be prepared to teach 12 hours per semester (three studio classes each semester).   Courses include:  Interactive Media Design, Digital 3-D Modeling & Animation, Animation Principles and Practices, and New Media Studio.

A MFA degree (or better) in Art + Design is required.  Candidates holding the PhD will be given preference.
