2007-2008 Scholarship and Discount Information

Academic Merit Scholarships:

All academic awards are reviewed on an annual basis for each incoming class. Modifications for future incoming classes will not change your academic award.

  • Presidential Academic Success Scholarship (PASS) -- This scholarship is available to first-time freshmen with an ACT score of 22 or above or an SAT score of 1020 or above.  A student may receive this scholarship up to 10 semesters and must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA to keep the award. This scholarship will be prorated for part-time enrollment. The Academic Scholarship is automatic; all we need is documentation of your ACT/SAT scores. Refer to the following chart to determine the amount of your Academic Scholarship.

Please note: The College Board has yet to release a chart comparing the new SAT to the ACT.  The College Board has stated, however, that “the new SAT field trial research has conclusively demonstrated that scores on the new critical reading section will be comparable to scores on the current verbal section, and scores on the new math section will be comparable to scores on the old math section. Therefore, current concordance tables can still be used to compare SAT and ACT scores.”

Until a concordance table is released by the College Board reflecting a comparison between the new SAT and ACT, Oklahoma Christian will use only the scores on the new SAT math section and critical reading section for the awarding of academic scholarships.
