South China Sea Explorer Cruise
We would love to have you join us and other alumni and friends of Oklahoma Christian University on a Southeast Asia adventure from January 23 to February 8, 2011, aboard Princess Cruises’ Ocean Princess. Few ships in the world can compare to the dazzling OCEAN PRINCESS, which offers all the choices of a large ship, while maintaining the intimacy of a smaller ship.
Sailing between Shanghai and Bangkok on the Ocean Princess, you’ll set eyes on some of Asia’s most fascinating ports. You can see the world’s largest collection of Chinese art at the National Museum in Taipei, explore subterranean tunnels in Ho Chi Minh City and browse shops in Singapore’s Little India neighborhood.
One of the highlights of this sensational vacation is the 2-days in the exciting city of Hong Kong - where diverse attractions range from shopping for clothes or trinkets at Stanley Market to visiting the picturesque village of Aberdeen, where people live onboard their junks and sampans.
Feel free to call or email Hulin Fowler or Nancy with any questions. We hope you will print the reservation form and send it with your deposit to secure your place on the trip. It’s important to make your reservation early so you will have your choice of stateroom and so that Princess Cruises will hold our spots.
To receive a hard copy of the brochure, e-mail nancy.oneal@oc.edu with the subject heading: Please Send Southeast Asia Brochure. Your name and mailing address should appear in the body of the e-mail.
We are looking forward to sharing this time of refreshing and fellowship with many existing and new friends.
Your friends in Christ,
Dr. Mike and Nancy O’Neal
Faculty Facts
The best OC memories that Dr. Chris Austin, Assistant Professor of Physics has are, "As a student my best memory was the Summer Vienna Trip. As a professor my best memory was launching a balloon with weather equipment that reached a height of 97,250 feet. We chased the balloon halfway to Arkansas and did not recover it until someone called the next day saying they found it."
