Max Dobson

Dr. Max Dobson says that he works at OC because it is a Christian University and wants to touch young people in a special way. In 2006, Dr. Dobson was the Oklahoma Adapted PE Teacher. Max Dobson has several favorite memories of OC. He coached the baseball team to two wins over the University of Oklahoma in 1973-74. He also coached the baseball team to the College World Series in 1972. In 1980 he took the women's basketball team to the state championship. In 1976 he began teaching special needs children - one of his special talents. Dr. Dobson belongs to two associations: Oklahoma Association of Health, PE, Recreation and Dance, and AAHPERD. His wife's name is Marilyn and they have three children: Tami, Todd, and Teri. They attend Memorial Road Church of Christ.
