	Dr. Robert Pinsky	McBride Lecture 2006

Dr. Robert Pinsky, a best-selling poet, author, translator and humanities leader for the nation, delivered the 2006 McBride Lecture.

The free lecture was on The Life of David, Pinsky’s 2005 study of King David of I and II Samuel. The lecture, the second-annual in the McBride Lecture series, was Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. in Oklahoma Christian University’s Gaylord University Center.

A book-signing reception followed Pinsky’s lecture. The former U.S. poet laureate also spent Oct. 6 on campus, interacting with OC students and providing a workshop for students from all Oklahoma universities.
