OKLAHOMA CITY (March 1, 2014) – Oklahoma Christian’s women’s basketball home game against St. Edward’s (Texas), scheduled for Sunday, won’t be played because of potentially difficult travel conditions for SEU, OC athletic director Curtis Janz said Saturday night.

The game originally had been scheduled for Dec. 5, but poor weather conditions prevented St. Edward’s from making its annual trip to Oklahoma City and the game eventually was rescheduled.

Temperatures in the Oklahoma City area were hovering in the mid 30s on Saturday night, with light rain falling. Oklahoma Christian played and won at Oklahoma Panhandle State on Saturday afternoon, while St. Edward’s played and lost at Lubbock Christian (Texas), which wrapped up an undefeated conference season in the process.

OC won’t play again until the National Christian College Athletic Association Central Region tournament, which is set for March 12-15 in Bartlesville.
