OC trustee Kerry Barnes, a 1971 graduate of Oklahoma Christian University, was featured in the Oklahoman on Thursday for his role with Columbia Sportswear.

Barnes is the vice president of retail for Columbia, which opened a new store at the The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City. The 8,500-square-foot store will carry men's, women's and children's apparel, shoes and accessories for the outdoors.

“I am very excited to be opening in Oklahoma City,” Barnes said in the article. “As an alum of Oklahoma Christian University and a member of its Board of Trustees, I know the importance of being part of that community and what Columbia will bring to Oklahoma City.”

Barnes joined Columbia in 2007 after serving as director of retail stores for adidas AG from 1981 to 2001. He previously was Director of Outlet Stores and Regional Vice President of the West Coast for Foot Locker, Inc.
