OC's "Eagle Angle" Now Available on Cox TV
Starting tonight, Oklahoma cable TV provider, Cox Communications, will carry OC’s TV news program, “Eagle Angle,” live every Wednesday. The program will air at 5:30 p.m. and replay at 4 p.m. Thursday. The half-hour news show will be available in the Oklahoma and Tulsa viewing areas on the Cox Channel, which is found on channels 3 and 703 in both cities. The Wednesday program will air right before the Cox weekly high school sports show.
“This is a great chance for our students to have their work seen in Oklahoma City and Tulsa,” said Larry Jurney, chair of the communication department at Oklahoma Christian. “We are thankful to Cox for entrusting us with this opportunity.”
“Eagle Angle” is student run and anchored. The show includes both local and national news, weather, entertainment and sports. Oklahoma Christian is also one of just a few Oklahoma colleges which uses its students to film home basketball games and broadcast them to the community, also on Cox. The broadcasts are completely student produced.
