ROSWELL, Ga. (June 30, 2014) – Oklahoma Christian’s Audrey Meisch finished the Judson Collegiate & Legends Pro-Am Challenge on Monday with her best round of the golf tournament, a 4-over-par 75.

Meisch, a rising junior from Wichita, Kan., finished in 40th place in the invitation-only event, jumping six spots in the individual standings on the final day. Only 14 players in the 59-woman field recorded a better score Monday than did Meisch, who had opened the tournament with rounds of 82 and 80 on the 6,300-yard course at the Country Club of Roswell.

On Monday, Meisch recorded a pair of birdies, at the par-5 No. 13 and the par-4 No. 15. She also had four bogeys and one double bogey.

Meisch ended the tournament at 24-over 237. Only one player finished with a below-par score – Jessica Haigwood of Georgia Regents-Augusta, who closed at 7-under 206 to win by nine shots.

The tournament was hosted by Rosie Jones, who played on the LPGA Tour for 25 years and won 13 events and also is former captain of the U.S. Solheim Cup team.

Invitations to play in the tournament were issued to top-ranked players from NCAA Divisions I, II and III as well as special invitees. Meisch was the only player from an Oklahoma university and the only player from a Heartland Conference school selected to play.
