KISSIMMEE, Fla. (Dec. 12, 2013) – Oklahoma Christian midfielder Carley Cave has been named as a National Christian College Athletic Association Scholar-Athlete for women’s soccer.

The NCCAA announced the national Scholar-Athlete honor list during its recent national tournament in Florida. To qualify for the award, a student-athlete must be at least a junior academically and have a grade-point average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

Cave, a junior from Edmond, has a 3.57 GPA in English/Teaching English as a Foreign Language.

She extended OC’s streak of having at least one NAIA or NCCAA Scholar-Athlete selection to four straight years.
