OC exhibition game at OU to be televised

NORMAN, Okla. (Oct. 31, 2012) – Oklahoma Christian’s women’s basketball exhibition game at Oklahoma on Thursday night will be televised on a channel to be launched that day by Cox Communications.

Cox will launch Fox College Sports on channels 271, 272 and 273 on Thursday. FCS will be available to Cox customers who subscribe to the Sports and Information Pak. The OC-OU game will be on Channel 273, which will be known as FCS Pacific. FCS is not yet available in high definition.

The game also will be shown on DirecTV – check channels 608, 623 or 626 – as well as multiple channels on DISH. For the latter, use the link http://fcs.channelfinder.net/start.asp.

The game will be replayed live on the Internet at www.soonersports.tv following the conclusion of the live broadcast and will be shown on a tape-delay basis on Sunday at 3 p.m. on Fox Sports Oklahoma (Cox 37 SD/715 HD; AT&T U-verse 754 SD/1754 HD; DirecTV 679).

Chad McKee and Billy Tubbs will call the game.

Thursday’s game will be the 10th meeting during the past 12 years between the Lady Eagles and Sooners, all in exhibition games. OU’s head coach, Sherri Coale, and assistant coach, Jan Ross, are OC graduates and played for OC coach Stephanie Findley during the 1980s.
