OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 21, 2013) – Oklahoma Christian will play in five tournaments – two in Oklahoma, two in Texas and one in Missouri – during the spring portion of its women’s golf schedule, OC coach Greg Lynn said Sunday.

The Lady Eagles will open the spring season March 3-4 at The Greens Country Club in Oklahoma City, playing in the Diffee Ford-Lincoln Invitational, hosted by Southern Nazarene.

The next week, March 10-11, the Lady Eagles again will be close to home, competing in the Kickingbird Classic at Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond. That tournament will be hosted by Central Oklahoma.

OC will play March 17-18 at The Champions Course at Weeks Park in Wichita Falls, Texas, in the Midwestern State Invitational.

After a week’s break, the Lady Eagles will again head to the Lone Star State to play March 30 and April 1 in the Dallas Baptist Southwest Classic at Horseshoe Bay Resort’s Apple Rock Golf Course in Horseshoe Bay, Texas, about an hour’s drive northwest of Austin.

After playing four 36-hole events, OC will close the season with a 54-hole tournament, the UMKC Kangaroo Spring Invitational, hosted by NCAA Division I Missouri-Kansas City at Shoal Creek Golf Course in Kansas City, Mo., on April 7-8.
