Jackson named as NCCAA Scholar-Athlete for women’s soccer

OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 6, 2012) – Oklahoma Christian’s Hanna Jackson has been named as an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete for women’s soccer.

The NCCAA announced its soccer Scholar-Athlete list during its recent national tournament in Kissimmee, Fla. Jackson, a senior defender from Castle Rock, Colo., was one of 120 players honored on the list.

To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior or graduate student, have completed at least one semester at her/his current university and have a minimum grade point average of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

Jackson has a 3.67 GPA in nursing. It’s the second straight year she’s been named as a Scholar-Athlete, having also earned that designation last year from the NAIA.
