OKLAHOMA CITY (Aug. 26, 2013) – Morgan Dockery, a starter for Oklahoma Christian’s women’s golf team during the program’s first two seasons, will serve as a student assistant coach during the 2013-14 academic year, OC Director of Golf David Lynn said Monday.

Dockery, from Andrews, Texas, was one of the players signed by OC women’s coach Greg Lynn prior to the Lady Eagles’ inaugural season in 2011-12. As a senior in 2012-13, she played in 11 tournaments and posted a stroke average of 83.8 over 23 rounds.

She won the Diffee Ford-Lincoln Invitational at Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond during the spring season, becoming only the second OC player to win an individual tournament title. She was named as the National Christian College Athletic Association student-athlete of the week after that performance.

She also was named as an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete as a senior.

“We are looking forward to having Morgan continue her association with our program,” Greg Lynn said. “I have no doubt she will continue to be an asset to the team.”
