OKLAHOMA CITY (May 23, 2014) – Dates have been set for the Oklahoma Christian Soccer Academy camps, which are run by the OC women’s soccer program.
The Academy’s Day Camps will be from June 9-12 and July 28-31 and are designed for boys and girls ages 5-12, from beginners through those playing at the recreational level. Campers will learn the individual techniques of playing soccer, such as dribbling, passing, receiving the ball, heading, shooting and more. The camp cost is $89.
The Elite Team Camp is set for July 28-31 and will be for under-9 Academy through under-18 club and high school boys and girls teams. Select individual spots also will be available. Each session is designed to address specific ways to improve a team’s performance, such as installing a new system of play, helping a new team play together or providing an environment to build team chemistry.
All Elite Team Camp coaches are current or former college coaches. The cost for the camp is $199 per camper when registering as a team.
The Ultimate College Soccer Experience camp will be Aug. 1-2. Top college coaches from the region will be at OC during the event to evaluate and discover future members of their teams. The event is only for girls entering the 9th grade through those entering the 12th grade. Camp staff will include coaches from OC and other area colleges. The camp cost is $89 until June 10, when the cost will rise to $99.
