Comm students win national, state contests

On March 22, OC student Brian Trumbly attended the National Broadcasting Society Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.  He received the 1st place award in the Show Opener category and the 2nd place award in the Documentary category.
In the state OAB/OBEA awards ceremony on March 28, Brian Trumbly received the award for 1st place in the Feature News Story category.  Marcus Ross received the award for 1st place in the Commercial category.  Titus Ellis received the award for 2nd place in the Entertainment Narrative category and Chase Layman received the 3rd place award in the Entertainment Narrative category.  Oklahoma Christian has hosted the competition for the past 15 years on its campus.
