  • OC presents Fall Chorale Concert

    The Oklahoma Christian University Chorale and Chamber Singers will perform their Fall Concert on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Adams Recital Hall. The concert will feature works by the great Renaissance composers, Thomas Weelkes, and Giovanni Palestrina, followed by selections from the rich, Russian music heritage. The Chorale will close the event with two inspiring spirituals from the great American choral literature. Admission is free.

  • OC has strong showing at top programming competition

    Oklahoma Christian University once again had a strong showing in one of the top competitions for computer science programming last week. OC was one of just six universities with two teams in the top 25 at the South Central Regional Association of Computing Machinery Computer Programming Contest.   • OC teams place first, third in state ethics contest

    A student team from Oklahoma Christian University won the Statewide Student Ethics Challenge in Norman. Another OC team placed third in the contest, which featured 16 teams from 10 universities across the state. OC’s winning team, the Aguilas, won all of its matches while its other team, the Eagles, went undefeated with one tie against a squad from the University of Oklahoma.   • Grand Concert slated for Tuesday night

    OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma Christian University’s Department of Music will present its 17th-annual Grand Concert on Tuesday, Oct. 9. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in OC’s Hardeman Auditorium.   • CVS Caremark assists iPad tutoring program

    Oklahoma Christian University announced today that it has received a $500 CVS Caremark Community Grant. The grant from CVS Caremark will help purchase iPads that students from OC’s School of Education will use to help tutor children from Edmond Public Schools. OC’s education majors conduct a weekly reading clinic for students in second through fifth grades.
