School of Business Administration

Dr. Phil Lewis, Dean School of Business Administration
Phil Lewis, Dean College of Professional Studies

The mission of the School of Business Administration is to build a community of life-long relationships upon a foundation of enduring Christian values within a framework of excellence in contemporary business education.

To accomplish our mission, we cultivate relationships among the school's current and former students, its business partners and the university.

We provide a rich, integrative learning experience that fosters creative thinking and ingenuity. We graduate people of character, integrity, competence and knowledge.

Our primary emphasis is on teaching. We are on a continuing quest for excellence within the framework of Christian principles.

That is why our core values remain these three principles:

  1. Enduring values-developing ethics and integrity consistent with the Word of God.
  2. Contemporary business education - demonstrating excellence through innovation, scholarship and service.
  3. Community-connecting careers, companies, communities and churches.

The School of Business Administration launched an innovative, accelerated MBA Program in 2000. The Fast Track MBA program offers evening classes two nights a week and allows students to earn their MBA in as little as one year.

The School of Business Administration is accredited by the ACBSP (Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs) and is a member of the AACSB (The International Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).
