The National Coalition for the Homeless: A national advocacy network of homeless persons, activists, service providers, and others committed to ending homelessness.
Native American Resources: Includes links to tribal home pages, Native American organizations, Indian education and colleges, government resources, and Native American art and culture.
Online Dictionary of the Social Sciences: A searchable social science dictionary that has 1000 entries covering the disciplines of sociology, criminology, political science and women's study.
Social Science Information Gateway - SOSIG: These resources have been classified according to the Universal Decimal Classification Scheme.
Social Science Data Analysis Network: The SSDAN Project helps college teachers introduce user-friendly census data analysis into their classes. Datasets from the 1950-1990 censuses can be used in courses on race relations, gender studies, marriage and the family, U.S. income inequality, and other timely social issues. The SSDAN project facilitates the incorporation of data analysis into introductory social science classes by creating course materials, hosting in person workshops and "virtual" (internet accessible) workshops for instructors, posting this homepage, and providing a forum for networking via e-mail groups.
