Astronomy Hypertext Book: A hypertext textbook on Astronomy written at the college level. Contains interactive information about astronomy and offers links to sites that offer assistance in Astronomy.
AstroWeb: Astronomical Internet Resources: A collection of links to astronomically relevant Internet resources.
Catalog of the Scientific Community in the 16th and 17th Centuries: This catalog is a collection of 631 detailed biographies on members of the scientific community during the 16th and 17th centuries with vital facts about each individual and their contributions to science.
Department of Energy: Information about energy operations, sciences and research.
Earth and Environmental Science: Registry of Earth and Environmental Science Internet resources maintained by the U.S. Geological Survey as a service to the research community.
Envirolink Library: A comprehensive list of environmental information available on the Internet.
Environmental Protection Agency: Information on projects, programs, laws, regulations, publications, databases, etc.
Freepatentsonline: Search millions of patents and patent applications by keyword, inventor, patent number, and more.
Google Patent Search: Google Patent Search covers the entire collection of patents made available by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) — from patents issued in the 1790s through those issued in the middle of 2006. Images of the drawings for each patent are included.
Human Genome Project: The U.S. Human Genome Project (HGP), sponsored by the Department of Energy and the National Institutes of Health, is an effort to characterize all human genetic material by determining the complete sequence of the DNA in the human genome.
ISIHighlyCited.com: ISIHighlyCited.com provides information about researchers in science and engineering whose publications have been cited intensely by their peers, thus showing the value of their work. Biographical information and a full list of publications is provided for each researcher included. Search for these top researchers by name, category, country, or institutional affiliation.
National Academy of Sciences: Provides independent, objective scientific advice to the nation. Includes the National Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Medicine, and the National Research Council.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration [NASA]: Provides information about all aspects of America's aerospace programs.
National Renewable Energy Laboratory: Premier resource for information about renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies.
Science.gov: Gateway to selected science information provided by U.S. government agencies, including the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, and NASA.
ScienceWeek: Access to the full text of ScienceWeek since 1998. ScienceWeek is a science digest devoted to improving communication between the sciences.
