ASME International: Home page for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) International serves its members, industry, and government by encouraging the development of new technologies and finding solutions to the problems of an increasingly global technological society. ASME International is one of the world's largest voluntary standards-setting organizations.
Freepatentsonline: Search millions of patents and patent applications by keyword, inventor, patent number, and more.
Google Patent Search: Google Patent Search covers the entire collection of patents made available by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) — from patents issued in the 1790s through those issued in the middle of 2006. Images of the drawings for each patent are included.
IEE: The Institution of Electrical Engineers, London (IEE) was formed to promote the advancement of electrical, electronic and manufacturing science and engineering and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas. Publications, conferences, meetings, etc. An index helps you to browse for information.
IEEE: The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers Computer Society (IEEE) is the world's leading organization of computer professionals. The society promotes an active exchange of information, ideas, and technological innovation among its members. The site provides information about conferences and standards as well as an online catalog.
IEEE Standards Association: This association is an international membership organization serving industries with a complete portfolio of standards programs. The site offers information about the association, the process of developing standards, and ways to purchase standards.
Intute: Science, Engineering and Technology: Provides access to Web resources for education and research that have been evaluated and selected by a network of subject specialists. Covers the physical sciences, engineering, computing, geography, mathematics and environmental science.
ISIHighlyCited.com: ISIHighlyCited.com provides information about researchers in science and engineering whose publications have been cited intensely by their peers, thus showing the value of their work. Biographical information and a full list of publications is provided for each researcher included. Search for these top researchers by name, category, country, or institutional affiliation.
National Technical Information Service: The mission of the NTIS is to serve as the central source for U.S. Government scientific, technical, and business information.
Science.gov: Gateway to selected science information provided by U.S. government agencies, including the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, and NASA.
TRIS Online: The TRIS (Transportation Research Information Services) Database is created and maintained by the Transportation Research Board of the National Academy of Sciences. It contains references to books, technical reports, conference proceedings, journal articles and on-going research in the field of transportation. Some of the reports are full text, but most are citation and abstract only.
