- AmphibiaWeb offers ready access to taxonomic information for every recognized species of amphibian in the world. Species descriptions, life history information, conservation status, literature references, photos and range maps are available for many species and are being added to regularly by specialists and volunteers from around the world.

- Provides information about rare, threatened, and endangered animals around the world. The site can be searched
by species, species group, or country.
- Biological Journals and Abbreviations
- This site contains the abbreviations, full titles, and links to some WWW pages for a large variety of biological and medical journals.

- Bird families of the world.
- Birds, United States Park Service
- Searchable index of birds in the parks.
- Digital Anatomist Program
- A collaboration between anatomists and computer scientists. Current projects include: online interactive anatomic atlas, human brain project, 3-D anatomical reconstruction from medical images, etc.

- The purpose of this site is to categorize and organize animal-related information on the Internet in a relevant, easy to use format.
- Human Genome Project
- The U.S. Human Genome Project (HGP), sponsored by the Department of Energy and the
National Institutes of Health, is an effort to characterize all human genetic
material by determining the complete sequence of the DNA in the human genome.

- ISIHighlyCited.com provides information about researchers in science and engineering whose publications have been cited intensely by their peers, thus showing the value of their work. Biographical
information and a full list of publications is provided for each researcher included. Search for these top researchers by name, category, country, or institutional
affiliation.
- List of Bacterial Names
- The list of bacterial names includes (both alphabetically and chronologically) the nomenclature of bacteria and the nomenclatural changes that have been: 1) cited in the approved lists of bacterial names, 2) published, or 3) validated in the International Journal of Systematic Bacteriology. It is extensively annotated to clarify the rules that govern scientific nomenclature.
