Art History: Links to information about many types of art.
Art on the Net: A collective of artists helping each other to come up on the Internet and share their works on the Web. Artists create and maintain studios and rooms in the gallery where they show their works and share about themselves.
Arts Edge Network: Resources for Art Education.
Art-Serve: Art and architecture mainly from the Mediterranean basin. Access to around 18,500 images (not available elsewhere) concerned in some way with the history of Art and architecture.
AskART: The database contains detailed information on nearly twenty-eight thousand American artists and can be accessed through a name keyword search, and alphabetically arranged artist index, or by category.
Christus Rex: Tours of Vatican City art treasures.
CPANDA - Cultural Policy & the Arts National Data Archive: An interactive digital archive of data on the arts and cultural policy in the U.S., available for research and statistical analysis, with data on artists, arts and cultural organizations, audiences, and funding for arts and culture.
Getty Museum: This site offers nearly 54,000 pages related to works of art and professional reports in conservation and art history. The heart of the site is the Explore Art section, which includes 3,300 works of art, 1,500 artist biographies, 1,500 glossary definitions, over 200 video clips, online exhibitions, and more.
Himalayan Art: An exhibit and catalog of Himalayan and Tibetan art from collections around the world. Includes paintings, sculpture, block prints, and murals from museum, university, and private collections.
Louvre Museum: Official Internet site of the "Musee du Louvre" in Paris. Many images.
Renaissance and Baroque Architecture: Images related to architectural history.
Smithsonian American Art Museum: Enjoy viewing and reading about nearly 1,000 works of art.
Web Museum: The ever-expanding WebMuseum Network is now welcoming 200,000 visitors every week, delivering over 10 million documents to Internet users.
World Wide Arts Resources: A search engine for visual arts. It provides the largest gateway to the Arts on the Internet. Categories include: Arts locator, artist index, galleries, museums, exhibitions, art for sale, commercial arts, publications, schools, agencies, children's resources, Art History, film resources, literary resources, theatre resources, dance resources, antiques and crafts.
