African American Perspectives
- Pamphlets from the Daniel A. P. Murray Pamphlet Collection, which
presents a panoramic and eclectic review of African-American history and
culture, spanning almost one hundred years from the early nineteenth through the
early twentieth centuries, with the bulk of the material published between 1875
and 1900.

Black Archives of Mid-America
- The mission of the Black Archives is to collect and preserve the evidence of the accomplishments of Blacks and to use our collections and related ideas to contribute to human knowledge and understanding by making our collections available for research, education, and exhibition. The Black Archives of Mid-America is the largest depository of artifacts documenting the African American experience in the four-state area of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Oklahoma. Archival presentations include diaries and personal documents, local written histories, African American newspapers, and records from churches, clubs, societies, and businesses.
