Academic Info: Religion Gateway: Provides links to information about a variety of religions.
Adherents.com: Provides references to published membership/adherent statistics and congregation statistics for over 4,200 religions, churches, denominations, religious bodies, faith groups, tribes, cultures, movements, ultimate concerns, etc.
Ancient History, Archaeology and Biblical Studies: Provides access to online versions of documents by archaeologists and ancient writers, as well as a few Bible study tools.
Apollos.ws: An academic resource for Christian research and education.
Association of Religion Data Archives: Allows you to interactively explore the highest quality data on American and international religion using online features for generating national profiles, maps, church membership overviews, denominational heritage trees, tables, charts, and other summary reports. Over 350 data files are available for online preview, and most can be downloaded for additional research.
ATLA Cooperative Digital Resources Initiative: A repository of digital resources that includes digital images of woodcuts, photographs, slides, papyri, coins, maps, and manuscripts.
Augustine: Contains translations and texts of Augustine. Also includes other research materials and reference aids, as well as papers from an online seminar and images.
Christian Classics Ethereal Library: Classic Christian books in electronic format.
Christian Research Institute: A site that tries to provide Christians with carefully researched information and well-reasoned answers that encourage them in their faith.
Christianity Online: An online Christian community with more than 62,000 members.
Comparative Religion: A directory of Internet resources for the academic study of religion.
Cross Search: Searchable index to sites of interest to Christians on the Internet.
CWC Missionary Periodicals Database: Provides a list of all periodicals on foreign missions published in Britain between the 18th century and the 1960s by missionary societies and commercial publishers.
Dowling Hymnals Online: The Enos E. Dowling collection is a collection of 9,000 hymns from 19 hymnals from the 19th century, complete with full text, sound files, and scanned images of the actual hymnal pages.
The Ecole Initiative: Seeks to create a hypertext encyclopedia of early church history.
Encyclopedia Mythica: A searchable encyclopedia on mythology, folklore, mysticism, and more.
Etana: Electronic Tools and Ancient Near Eastern Archives: Provides a guide to Web-based information relevant to the study of the Ancient Near East, as well as the full text of some of the world's earliest written texts.
Farrar's Life of Christ: The online version of Frederic Farrar's classic work on the life of Jesus Christ. Farrar was a British preacher who lived from 1831 to 1903 and served—among other places—as minister of London's famed Westminster Abbey and later as Dean of Canterbury.
Fides Quarens Internetum: The Christian Theology Page: A hub for locating serious Christian theological activity on the Internet.
Gospel Communications Network: Online Christian Resources: A gathering of Christian ministries (more added frequently). Includes: Sports Flash, Internet for Christians, International Bible Society, Inter-varsity Christian Fellowship And Press, The Navigators, Youth For Christ, Christian Camping International/USA, Coalition For Christian Colleges & Universities, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Youth Unlimited, Etc.
Gutenberg Bible Online: The Gutenberg Bible, the first book printed with movable type, was printed at Johann Gutenberg's shop in Mainz, Germany and completed in 1454 or 1455. The University of Texas, which owns a copy, has scanned each of the pages and made them available online.
ICLNET [Institute for Christian Leadership]: A Guide to Christian Literature on the Internet: Everything you always wanted to know (but were afraid to ask) about Christian resources on the Internet.
ICLNET: Guide to Early Church Documents: Pointers to Internet-accessible files relating to the early church, including canonical documents, creeds, the writings of the apostolic fathers and other historical texts relevant to church history.
Jews for Jesus: Serves as a means for finding Jewish Christians. Contains documents on Jewish Christianity and information on how to contact Jewish Christians, along with music and a fun quiz.

Multifaith and Religion Sites: Maintained by Rowan Fairgrove, a neopagan priestess, this site provides links to multifaith and religious sites.
Not Just Bibles: A Guide to Christian Resources on the Internet: A guide intended for Internet users interested in resources related to classical Christianity (a term coined by C.S. Lewis to describe a theology that affirms the importance of a transforming faith in Christ as God and Savior.
Psychology of Religion Pages: Michael Nielsen developed these pages to serve as a resource for people interested in psychological aspects of religious belief and behavior. This is a general introduction to the psychology of religion, where you will find a description of what psychologists have learned about how religion influences people's lives.
Religion-Online.org: Religion Online is designed to asssist professors, scholars, and general "seekers" who are interested in exploring religious issues. At present there are over one hundred chapters, monographs, speeches, and articles online.
Religion Movements: Alternative Spirituality: Links to various alternative spirituality movements.
Religious Tolerance: A site that describes dozens of faith groups, from Asatru to Christianity to Wicca to Zoroastrianism. The site covers new religious movements, including dangerous cults, as well as describing ethical belief systems, like Agnosticism, Atheism and Humanism. The site does not promote one religious point of view.
ReligiousResources.org: A comprehensive, searchable database of religious and Christian web sites on the Internet.
SermonAudio.com: A library of free MP3 audio sermons available online.
Sermon Illustrations at Bible.org: Offers keyword searching or alphabetical browsing of the list of sermon illustrations.
Tertullian Project: English translation of one of Tertullian’s most important works.
Theological Research Exchange Network: A library of over 6,800 theological thesis/dissertation titles representing research from as many as 70 different institutions. Titles may be ordered online through our search and order system or by downloading a TREN Database. TREN also makes available conference papers presented at annual meetings of several academic societies.
The Wabash Center Guide to Internet Resources for Teaching and Learning in Theology and Religion.: A selective, annotated guide to a wide variety of electronic resources of interest to those who are involved in the study and practice of religion: syllabi, electronic texts, electronic journals, websites, bibliographies, listserv discussion groups, liturgies, reference resources, software, etc. The purpose of the Guide is to encourage and facilitate the incorporation of electronic resources into teaching.
Virtual Religion Index.: The Virtual Religion Index analyzes & highlights important content of religion-related websites to speed research.
Yale Divinity Digital Image and Text Library: The Yale Divinity Digital Library is a faculty-library initiative that provides digital resources for teaching and research. The Digital Library contains two discrete subsets that can be browsed or searched separately: 1) AdHoc: Image and Text Database on the History of Christianity and 2) EIKON: Image Database for Biblical Studies.
Youth Ministry Central: A list of Web sites, including descriptions where necessary, that are especially useful for youth workers.

Christian Chronicle: An international newspaper for members of Churches of Christ.
The Churches of Christ Welcome You: Provides directories, bulletin board, missions catalog, online bibles, internet ministries, online Christian newspapers and magazines, etc.
Christian Resources: A list of church of Christ related resources for online research.
ChurchZip: ChurchZip is a web site dedicated to helping people find the nearest church to any location in the United States and Canada, and it includes 13,300 churches of Christ in those countries. To find the nearest church, just enter the name of a city in the U.S. or Canada or a U.S. zip code.
Herald of Truth: A media ministry whose mission is bringing the hope and promise of Jesus Christ to the world. The ministry produces and distributes television and radio broadcasts as well as printed material.
Montana Vineyard: Directory of the churches of Christ in Montana.
Restoration Serials Index [RSI]: The Restoration Serials Index, a publication of the Christian College Librarians, Inc., is a computer-produced author/subject index to periodicals and lectureships by members of the churches of Christ. Published since 1975, the present volume covers 31 periodicals and 12 lectureships. Thirty-nine librarians from 17 institutions have contributed indexing.

Mission Research Web Sites: An extensive list of online resources related to missions.
Missionary Periodicals Database: Hosted by Yale University Divinity School Library, this database aims to record all periodicals on foreign missions published in Britain, between the eighteenth century and the 1960s, by missionary societies and commercial publishers, giving full bibliographical details, information on contents and locations.
Orthodox Research Institute: Missiology: Links to missions resources provided by the Orthodox Research Institute.

Abilene Christian University Yearbooks: The full text of the Abilene Christian Univeristy yearbooks from 1916 to the present.
Alexander Campbell: Information about Alexander Campbell's life and writings.
Alexander Campbell's Living Oracles (4th Edition): The full test of Living Oracles, by Alexander Campbell.
Barton Stone: Information about Barton W. Stone's life and writings.
Center for Restoration Studies: The Center for Restoration Studies at ACU is a repository of books, archival materials (cabinets and boxes of file folders, papers, audio/video cassettes etc.) and artifacts connected with the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement. The goal is to place a scanned image of every item in the collection online.
Center for Restoration Studies: Audiotape Sermons: A project for making virtual audiotape sermons available on the Internet. The first offering is a sermon preached by A. R. Holton in 1947 at the Central Church of Christ in Nashville, Tennessee.
Disciples of Christ Historical Society: The Disciples of Christ Historical Society was founded in 1941 for the purpose of gathering, preserving, and making available the large trove of materials relating to various early 19th Century reform groups stemming from the work of Thomas and Alexander Campbell, Barton Stone, and other religious pioneers.
Gospel Advocate Obituary Index: An index to obituaries published in the Gospel Advocate from 1855 to 1994. The index is searchable by last name.

Restoration Movement: Information on the Restoration Movement provided by the American Theological Library Association.
Restoration Movement: Features historical texts, pictures, resources for historical research and links to other relevant pages dealing with the Restoration Movement. This nineteenth-century unity and restitution effort by Barton W. Bible Dictionaries at StudyLight.org: Free access to Bible dictionaries online.
Bible Gateway: An online searchable gateway to the following versions of the Bible: NIV, NASB, RSV, KJV, Darby, and YLT. Languages available include: English, German, Swedish, Latin, French, Spanish, and Tagalog. Also includes a searchable index of over 22,000 Biblical topics.
Bible Study Tools: Provides access to online commentaries, Bible dictionaries, concordances, lexicons, and more.
English-Greek Word Search from the Perseus Digital Library: Type in an English word to find the Greek dictionary definitions that contain it.
Hitchcock's Bible Names Dictionary: Contains more than 2,500 Bible and Bible-related proper names and their meanings.
New Testament Gateway: Web directory of internet resources related to the New Testament that includes annotated links on topics from the Greek New Testament to Jesus in Film.
Orion Dead Sea Scrolls Bibliography: The Orion Center's bibliography, which covers items from 1995 to the present, allows users to keep up to date on scholarship on the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Paul and Scripture Bibliography: A bibliography prepared by the members of the Paul and Scripture Seminar of the Society of Biblical Literature.
Resource Page for Biblical Studies: These pages are compiled as a resource for scholarly Biblical studies. They contain references and pointers to Biblical and related texts, translations, linguistics resources, electronically published Biblical studies, aspects of the "Biblical" worlds, archaeology, etc.
Scrolls from the Dead Sea: This exhibit from the Library of Congress is a great scholastic site. Provides the published text of the Quamran Scrolls, commonly known as the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Strong's Lexicon provided by UnboundBible.org: Use this lexicon to look up the meaning of a Greek or Hebrew word.
The Unbound Bible: Description: Choose from ten versions and many translations of the Bible to search.
The World Wide Study Bible: The World Wide Study Bible was conceived as a means of organizing all of the Bible-related resources on the Web according to scripture reference. The site invites user contributions.

Buddhist Studies WWW Virtual Library: The Internet guide to Buddhist Studies.
Catholic Encyclopedia: The Catholic Encyclopedia proposes to give its readers full and authoritative information on the entire cycle of Catholic interests, action and doctrine. The online version is a work in progress.
Catholic Online: Comprehensive information about the Roman Catholic Church.
Chinese Religions: Academic Info provides a list of online resources with information about Chinese religions.
DharmaNet International: An Internet clearinghouse for Buddhist study and practice resources.
Hindu Website: Information about hinduism as well as links to other Web sites about Hinduism.
Islamic Web: Information about the beliefs and history of Islam in English and Spanish.
IslamiCity: Information and links about Islam.
Jewish History Resource Center: The Jewish History Resource Center, a project of the Dinur Center for Research in Jewish History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, lists and categorizes over 6000 links to websites that deal with Jewish History.
Jewish Studies: Information and links about Judaism.
Jewishnet: Offers a list of Jewish-related sites. Offers links to gopher sites, home pages, libraries, FTP sites, and information on newsgroups and mailing lists.
Judaism and Jewish Resources: Coordinates all the Jewish information across the Internet.
New Religious Movements: This site is maintained by Jeffery Hadden and his students. It provides course syllabi, lecture materials, and a select bibliography of books and articles.
Project Wittenberg: Project Wittenberg is home to works by and about Martin Luther and other Lutherans. Here you will find all manner of texts from short quotations to commentaries, hymns to statements of faith, theological treatises to biographies, and links to other places where words and images from the history of Lutheranism live.
Religion in Japan: Information about religions common in Japan as well as links to online resources.
Scientology: The official site of the Scientology religion.
Spiritual Counterfeits Projects: Discusses the occult, cults, and the New Age movement, as well as their impact on society.
The Wesleys and Their Times: Extensive links about John and Charles Wesley from the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church.
Wesley Center for Applied Theology: This site is designed to provide information concerning the life and works of John Wesley. Also, at this location are materials related to Biblical, Theological and Pastoral Studies, which Wesley emphasized throughout his ministry.
