Graduate School of Theology

OC Graduate School of Theology, part of the College of Biblical Studies at Oklahoma Christian University, offers two graduate degrees focused in theological studies and ministerial training.  The Master of Arts (M.A.) in Ministry degree has been offered since 1988.  The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree was initiated in 2004.  Both degrees are regionally accredited.

The Master of Arts in Ministry (M.A.) degree is designed to enhance ministry.  Students take course work to provide the foundations necessary for ministry.  Students with previous training may receive advanced standing.

The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree, a professional ministry degree often required for ordination to Christian ministry, includes studies in Bible, theology, church history, and ministry.  The M.Div. does not require previous religious studies.  Both Greek and Hebrew are included in the degree requirements, providing the foundations for a balanced combination of biblical and textual, ministry, and historical and theological studies.  Students with previous study may receive advanced standing.

OC's Graduate School of Theology's Certificate in Christian Ministry provides students the opportunity to gain graduate level education from a regionally accredited institution in biblical studies and ministry skills in the convenience of an online format.  A student who enrolls in graduate level courses must have a bachelor's degree. The Certificate in Christian Ministry can be completed in one year.
