Good News for April: From a Dog Show in Kansas to Popular Children’s Bible Lessons from NZ

by: Stafford North | April 17, 2014

The April Good News shares stories about a highly popular set of Bible lessons from a missionary in New Zealand, a group producing widely-used evangelistic materials, a special occasion for a small Oklahoma church and an outreach at a dog show in Kansas. You will find the stories interesting and uplifting.

We really need you to take survey which the Oklahoma Christian Church Relations Department is doing to learn more about why some members do and others do not do more in evangelism. We now have about 800 respondents but need to exceed 1,000. Please help us gather the best data we can. Click on the following link: http://bit.ly/ocscgl. Please also send this link to your congregational email list and ask them to participate. We hope to close the survey by the end of April. Thanks for your help.

Our friend, Jerry Lawlis, who sends out Good News to his Red River Encampment list each month, asked us to mention that his annual tour to the Bible lands is on September 6-20. You can get details at http://rrfeholylandtour.blogspot.com.

Interesting words on the back of a dump truck—Don’t wait to go to church until six strong men have to carry you there.
