The Davisson American Heritage Building--lovingly known by many simply as "DAH"--is an iconic landmark on campus. Sitting on the university's highest point, this building on the hill has been home to OC legends like James Cail, Jim Wilson, John Thompson, John Maple and many more. Many a deep discussion has been had in DAH's main auditorium, one of the single largest classrooms we have. (And many a cafeteria tray sled ride has launched from DAH's main entrance, too.)
As she approaches a half-century of service, however, the love of 10,000 some-odd Eagles has taken its toll on DAH. So we decided it was time to pump a little rejuvination into a campus classic.
And here's the awesome news: as of now this $500,000 renovation project is funded and construction is slated to begin this summer. Believe it. It's happening.
What a great feeling to know that our beloved DAH is getting some much-deserved TLC. More as it develops!
