McGaw American Heritage Endowment

The late Mary and Foster McGaw of Evanston, Illinois, created an endowment fund with the National Education Program in the late 1970s. The National Education Program (NEP) was a nonprofit organization, created and overseen by the late Dr. George S. Benson, chancellor of Oklahoma Christian from 1957 to 1967.

The NEP was dedicated to increasing national awareness of three of America’s founding core values: faith in God, constitutional government, and private enterprise. Borne out of OC's partnership with the NEP, the McGaw American Heritage Endowment supports educational seminars, lectures, and other events each year to further the appreciation and understanding of these American core values.
