Oklahoma Community Orchestra Final Concert of the 2014-2015 Season
The Oklahoma Christian University Department of Music invites you to attend the final concert of the 2014-2015 season by the Oklahoma Community Orchestra. The program takes place on Sunday, May 31st at 7:30 p.m. in Oklahoma Christian’s Hardeman Auditorium (to see a campus map, follow this link http://www.oc.edu/about/map.aspx). Under the direction of Dr. John Fletcher, this concert has a theme of “Let’s Go To The Movies.” Some of the featured selections include Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain,” “A Tribute to John Williams,” Selections from “Frozen,” “Mission Impossible,” “The Pink Panther,” and numerous others. OC Music Professor Dr. Heath Jones will be a guest artist on several pieces, and he will be joined by other solo performers. OC alum and local media personality Lucas Ross will make a special appearance on…a typewriter! Please join us for this program of orchestral, jazz, pop, and film music. Children age 12 and under are admitted free. OC students, faculty, and staff are admitted free of charge with their OC ID.
