Learning objectives of the MacBook program

The MacBook program is part of Oklahoma Christian's larger goal of employing mobile learning to enhance the educational experience of students at the University. The advantages of shifting to Apple hardware is a natural progression in achieving the learning objectives of the vision statement of Oklahoma Christian's mobile learning project.

Mobile Learning Vision Statement

The project will provide a personalized, technology-enriched “OC experience” with anytime, anywhere access to all university constituents in order to:

  4. Engage Campus Constituents.
  5. Encourage Information Literacy.
  6. Empower Students for the Future.
  7. Enhance OC’s reputation.

Oklahoma Christian will continue to utilize computing in the learning environment as it has done for several years. We are excited about the additional media capabilities this initiative allows. Students increasingly desire for media-rich content and learning opportunities. The university's learning objectives are enhanced by our association with Apple and their products.
