Surprisingly, we still have openings for our April 28-May 5 trip this spring. Act soon! We have seen lots of interest and some additions in the last week. The payment deadline is in early February, so there's still time to join the group. I promise you'll LOVE it! To get registered, you can call Kim at 405-425-5110 or send her an email at Viennaalumtrip@oc.edu.

The format we use for the trip of daily 1/2 day excursions and the rest free time has proven to be the right one for our alums. We'd love to have you come with us!

Spring Sing 2018

Would you believe that Spring Sing is 50 years old this year? Amazing! Easily one of OC's oldest traditions. This year's dates are March 1-3 and the theme is Year of the Gold. The show times are March 2nd at 8:00 pm, and March 3rd at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Public ticket sales go online February 6th at 8:00 am. Go to oc.edu/springsing to find out more information and to purchase tickets.

One of the newest components of this great tradition is now in the third year and initiated fully by our students. Last year, the Student Government Association decided that during both homecoming and Spring Sing weekends, they would add a charity fund-raising component and do something positive for a worthy cause. I will say that this does seem to be a strong trait of this current college generation - helping others. Very commendable.

The Oklahoma Christian University student body is excited to announce the philanthropy recipient of Spring Sing 2018 is the Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma (DSACO). Fundraising and awareness events include an All-Star basketball game in February, Alumni dinner the evening of a Spring Sing show, a Silent Auction during the shows, and a DSACO Easter egg hunt later in March. Be looking for more information about the events and ways to become involved in supporting DSACO. Click here to see more information to see how you can help.

Stafford North's 'Good News' Newsletter

Good News for January tells an amazing story of jail baptisms in Oklahoma City, of a successful outreach in Kenya, of seven Christian medical facilities in Africa, and of a praying, growing rural church in Arkansas.  In addition, there is information on trips with Oklahoma Christian personnel: one to Egypt, Israel, and Jordan and another to Vienna.  Be sure to take a look and to share Good News with your own list of personal or church emails.
