Homeschool Dual Credit Program

Homeschooled high school juniors and seniors are invited to take college courses for credit on our Oklahoma City campus!  Please see the list of courses offered below.  OC’s 2012 spring semester begins on January 9th and concludes April 26th.

Please note! Students can take two courses per semester. Space is limited in each course and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Program costs:

Students pay a flat tuition rate of $565 per course (a considerable savings from OC’s per credit hour cost).  There are no additional fees.

To enroll in your chosen course or courses, please follow the following steps:

  1. Apply for admission at www.oc.edu/apply. When prompted, select ‘part-time student’, ‘concurrent enrollment’, and ‘Spring 2012’ as start term.  Use the fee-waived code “concurrent” when prompted for payment.
  2. Send an email to Risa Forrester, VP for Enrollment Management, at risa.forrester@oc.edu indicating your desired course or courses (please include time and day if class is offered more than once).  Risa will respond confirming course availability and enrollment.
  3. After applying and/or enrolling, you’ll receive an email to the email address you included on your application for admission.  The email will give instructions for logging in to your MyOC student portal account (my.oc.edu).  Please log in!  You’ll use MyOC to pay for your course and validate your enrollment.
  4. Use MyOC to pay for your course(s).  The cost is $565.00 per course.
  5. Celebrate!  You’re now an OC student.  Watch your email for an invitation to visit campus for a short orientation program to take care of any additional important items.
