The Language & Culture Institute
Each year, nearly a million people take the TOEFL test to measure their ability to use and understand English at a university level. At the Language and Culture Institute (LCI) on the Oklahoma Christian University campus, non-native English speakers can study English in the USA while acclimating themselves to the same environment in which they’ll be earning their degrees.
Rather than prepare students to simply sit for an exam, Oklahoma Christian prepares them to take on the challenges and rewards of university study. With a 15-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio, students can learn English, study with peers to develop conversational skills, and still receive the individual attention they need to earn the best possible scores on the TOEFL test.
The Language and Culture Institute at Oklahoma Christian also provides those who choose to study English in the USA with care and respect for their cultural heritage in a comfortable, fun, and safe learning environment. The ultimate goal of the Learning and Culture Institute is to not only to assist students with their English study, but also to help them in the pursuit of their personal, academic, and professional goals.
