Oklahoma Leadership Academy

June 8-12, 2008

At the beginning of each year, the Academy sends out nomination requests to every public and private high school in Oklahoma, inviting administrators, teachers and coaches to nominate students with exceptional leadership skills. All nominated students will be invited to apply for the program. Based upon nominations and student applications, a group of 40 students will be selected for participation in the program.

The Academy is looking for character-filled students who are motivated to expand their leadership skills through practical training and personal development.

Importantly, the Oklahoma Leadership Academy is not designed just for the valedictorians and high scholastic achievers.  This program is most interested in attracting the students who have demonstrated leadership abilities that other students listen to and respect.

If you are a student who is committed to developing as a leader and wants to be a leader of character and integrity, then speak to your school counselor about nomination for the program.

If you are a school counselor, we encourage you to consider which of your students are best suited for this program.  If you would like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.  Otherwise, click here to access the nomination form.
