Gen. Tommy Franks

Since retiring from the United States Army as a four-star general and commander in chief of United States Central Command, Gen. Tommy Franks has devoted his life to developing leaders through the General Tommy Franks Leadership Institute and Museum.  Students who participate in the program will have the opportunity to interact with General Franks one-on-one and learn from one of the greatest leaders of our time.

Dr. Nathan Mellor

Professor of Leadership & Vice President, Oklahoma Christian

With a  background in dispute resolution and organizational leadership, Dr. Nathan Mellor will teach students the core principles of leadership including casting a vision, communication, managing conflict, goal setting, and motivation.  Dr. Mellor has a passion for developing people of character into effective leaders to improve the world around them.

Dr. John Goodman

President, National Center for Policy Analysis

Founder of the National Center for Policy Analysis and one of the nation's leading minds in the field of economics, students will gain an in depth perspective on the dollars and cents behind many of today's important issues.  Dr. Goodman will teach the students about the complexities of managing the interests of a variety of constituents in an ever changing environment.

Dr. Brian Bush

Director, iDebate

iDebate is directed by Dr. Brian. Bush, managing director of the Academy of Leadership & Liberty and graduate of Harding University. Dr. Bush has extensive experience directing leadership development camps for young people and a passion for teaching.  Brian brings a diversity of practical leadership lessons to the program having graduated from the Oklahoma University School of Law.

Ms. Christa Bieker

Assistant Director, iDebate

Ms. Christa Bieker is a policy analyst with the National Center for Policy Analysis.  In this role she provides resources and topic analysis for NCPA's Debate Central web site initiative, a free online resource for high school debaters.  Ms. Bieker has extensive experience in debate, having participated in both high school and collegiate level debate.  She will provide students will intensive debate instruction helping them to analyze the issues and develop a solid argument.

Ms. Jenn Gill

Assistant Director, iDebate

Another graduate of Oklahoma Christian University, Ms. Jenn is the creative genius behind the education component of the program.  A student of communications and languages, Ms. Gill provides instruction on persuasion, interpersonal communication and public speaking.  In addition to her work as the programs coordinator for  the Academy of Leadership & Liberty, Jenn is a frequent speaker at women's leadership development programs throughout the region.
