The renovated Enterprise Square will house the Hall of Leadership, a self-guided exhibit depicting various American leaders and stories of leadership. The Hall will show many different aspects of leadership, including military leadership, business leadership, political leadership, spiritual leadership and community service leadership. We hope that people will be inspired by the stories and the images, and will have a desire to venture out and take the lead to bring about positive change.
Among other exhibits, the Hall of Leadership will feature the Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame, the Sales & Marketing Executives International Academy of Achievement, and the Samuel P. Ingram America’s Call to Freedom art collection. In addition, the Hall will have space for a number of traveling exhibits that will showcase inspirational stories of historical leadership and success.
The Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame:
Housed on the campus of Oklahoma Christian University and headed by Col. Pendleton Woods (ret.), the Oklahoma Military Heritage Foundation annually hosts an induction ceremony to honor the men and women of Oklahoma who served and continue to serve in the Armed Forces of the United States.
The Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame will reside in the newly-renovated Enterprise Square Hall of Leadership. Each of the inductees will be featured on interactive touch-screen monitors. Visitors will be able to browse through the inductees, view images, read their stories, and even listen to recorded interviews.
Ken Arbuckle SMEI Academy of Achievement:
The SMEI Academy of Achievement was established in 1990 to recognize notable lifetime contributions to the free enterprise system through personal and corporate success in sales and marketing. The Academy honors those whose qualities of leadership, professionalism, ethical standards, and excellence have made the free enterprise system work and made the world a better place to live.
As with the Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame, the SMEI Academy of Achievement will utilize interactive touch-screen technology. Every one of the inductees will be featured with a biography and inspirational story of success that will spur on the viewer to make a difference in his or her community.
"America's Call To Freedom Collection" -- Capt. Samuel P. Ingram:
Capt. Samuel P. Ingram served the United States faithfully for more than 25 years as a naval aviator. He was so committed to defending our nation that in spite of being shot down twice during World War II, once sustaining major injuries and another time floating in the Pacific Ocean for three days, Capt. Ingram climbed back into the cockpit and flew missions in both Korea and Vietnam.
Though he was dedicated to his military mission, Ingram was a lover of the arts. Having studied under Diego Rivera before joining the military, Ingram’s life was filled with music and art. His wife was an accomplished opera singer—singing at President Eisenhower’s inauguration—and he was an accomplished painter.
When Ingram passed away, in addition to the generous gift he left to Oklahoma Christian University for the renovation of Enterprise Square, he left us his prized art & artifact collection, America’s Call to Freedom, which
tells the story of the struggle to make the United States what it is today.

The Ingram collection includes 214 pieces of artwork including depictions of biblical stories, scenes from the American Revolutionary War, and the romance of the American West. Also, a significant portion of the artwork covers Native Americans, showing their lifestyle and the conflict with the encroaching settlers. To augment the collection, Ingram included hundreds of artifacts from the American wars, Native Americans, and westward-traveling settlers.
The collection will be displayed in the Hall of Leadership and will serve to inspire people to be passionate about ensuring that our nation is always built on the principles of honor, freedom, integrity, and faith.
