Cecil Halkey has owned and operated a retail women's clothing store since 2005. Her intent is to narrow the focus to middle class executive or business women.
She began her secondary schooling in Uganda and completed it in Rwanda. She is currently pursuing her first degree in Business Administration at the School of Finance and Business (SFB) in Rwanda.
Her inspiration comes from her cousin who owned a clothing store where Cecil was employed. She hopes to gain valuable planning skills via Peace Through Business, learning from mentors about their experience. She intends to use her training to write a comprehensive business plan and make application for a business expansion loan.
