Oklahoma Christian University and the Academy of Leadership and Liberty have a vision for the future. Just like the settlers who arrived here almost five-hundred years ago, we believe that the future of the United States is whatever we make of it. Unfortunately, as we look around we see a number of forces acting in our nation that could make the future of America quite bleak; forces teaching our youth that selfishness is wise, forces rewarding immoral business practices, and forces that stifle freedom and liberty. We choose to be a force that is acting in the other direction, to bring about positive change to ensure a bright future for generations to come.
The future that we will help to shape consists of strong familes, great education, citizens committed to community service and faith, and successful businesses operating in an ethical and sustainable way. It is a future where people can succeed personally, but are also concerned for those around them. It is a future that celebrates the Heart of America as one nation under God.
The Heart of America Campaign will raise $10,000,000 to build stronger communities.
We believe that a community grows stronger when its people embrace the principles of freedom and allow others to do the same. Your donation to the Heart of America Campaign will ensure that more people are reached with a message of liberty, democracy, and a respect for human dignity, and that more people will be equipped with the tools they need to pursue freedom.
We also believe that a community gradually takes the shape of its leaders--intentionally or otherwise. Thus we believe that it is absolutely important that community leaders--whatever the community, be it a school, a church, a neighborhood, or a business--be individuals filled with character and committed to the highest standards of ethics. Your donation to the Heart of America Campaign will permanently endow programs designed to raise up and support leaders who will intentionally help their communities to move in a positive direction.
Your gift will:
- Provide programs that equip those inspired to good works
- Support seminars and conferences on ethics and best practices in business
- Permanently fund initiatives to develop leaders
- Train young people in the true meaning of citizenship, public service and community
- Enhance existing educational programs at OC which are developing servant leaders
- Renovate the Enterprise Square building to become a focal point of leadership development
