In keeping with our commitment to educational delivery that is at the vanguard of technology, you are issued a wireless Dell laptop computer to use while completing the MBA program. The laptop will be used extensively in classroom assignments, research and communication. For more information see IT Services
Student Orientation
To prepare you to utilize your laptops and our extensive university IT systems, you will attend a three-hour orientation prior to starting classes. This hands-on training is designed to quickly familiarize you with the university's IT tools so you can best use them for your MBA coursework. Orientation also covers the student handbook issues and university policies. The IT Helpdesk provides continued support their campus phone number is 425-5555.
MBA Customization
There are seven areas of emphasis or business"tracks" from which you may choose. These tracks include: Accounting; Leadership / Organizational Development; Electronic Business; Engineering and Technology Management; Health Services Management; and Financial Services. You may also customize a general course of study by selecting three courses from different tracks.Specialty Course Descriptions
Graduate Entrance Examinations Requirement Waiver
The GMAT or GRE is not required if one of these three conditions is met: 1) the undergraduate cumulative grade point average is 3.25 or greater; 2) the undergraduate cumulative grade point average is 3.0 or better, and the student can demonstrate a minimum of five years of professional business experience (include a detailed resume with references to be considered under this option); 3) Successful completion of 9 graduate level hours at another accredited university.
Cost Information
Tuition is $400 per credit hour. The MBA degree program is 36 hours. (Additional preparatory leveling courses are $1200 each) Text costs will vary with each class, but average $1500 for the entire degree program. Fees for the laptop, complete access to the university's IT systems, and technical support are included in tuition. Other fees - $25 Application Fee and $50 Graduation Fee.
