Preparatory
Courses
Students with bachelor degrees in disciplines other than business may
need to complete leveling work (the Common Professional Component) before
enrolling in the MBA program. Credits for these preparatory courses are
accepted from any accredited college or university.
Core Courses
Students with undergraduate degrees in business and no deficiencies in
prescribed undergraduate courses may go directly into the courses of the
MBA program. The core consists of nine prescribed courses in business.
With approval, as many as six transfer hours may be applied toward the
degree.
Specialization
Courses
After completing the preparatory courses (if required) and the core courses, students may elect one of the specialty tracks. Should a student not
wish to select one of these tracks, he or she may choose any three courses
from the tracks and receive a general MBA degree.
Currently, the tracks students may choose from are accounting, organizational leadership and development, health services management, electronic business, engineering and technology, and finance.
