Mickey Cowan is a Certified Public Accountant, interested in ethics and accounting theory. He co-authored a CPE course titled: God and the Firm. Cowan is a member of several associations: Oklahoma Society of CPA’s, Ada Chapter of CPA’s, and Oklahoma Ethics Consortium. He sponsors another organization, Delta Mu Delta. His favorite memory of OC was the first Millican Lecture on Ethics. Cowan works at OC “because of Elaine Kelly and Phil Lewis. I taught 30 years in state schools, I truly enjoy being in the classroom. The students and my business school colleagues being believers in Christ keep me here.” He is married to Uanda, he has one son named Billy, and three grandchildren: Jackson, Katie, and Tori. He attends Central Church of Christ where he is a Bible class teacher. Cowan does radio broadcasts for Ada High School, a weekly cable TV show during football season, and a bi-weekly radio show. He is the voice of the Ada cougars for Ada High School athletic events. |

Don Drew is a Professor at the Oklahoma Christian University School of Business Administration, Oklahoma City. His current research interests are: social entrepreneurship, faculty work and motivation, strategic development and planning, and faith/work integration. He received his B.A. in Bible in 1979 from Oklahoma Christian University and his Master of Human Relations in 1986 from the University of Oklahoma. He earned his Doctor of Education degree in Aerospace Management in 2000 from Oklahoma State University where he specialized in Human Factors. He joined the faculty of Oklahoma Christian University in 2000 as founding Director of the university’s Master of Business Administration program. He also received Oklahoma Christian University’s Faculty Leadership Award in 2004, and has completed additional graduate level education in International Business from the University of South Carolina, and in Strategic Planning and Development from the Armed Forces Staff College, Norfolk, Virginia. Prior to entering academia, Don has served as Secretariat to the Joint Chiefs of Logistics, Pentagon, Washington, D.C. where he retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1994, and since that time as Senior Analyst to the B-2 Stealth Bomber program. He has consulted for various organizations to include Seagate Technologies, the Oklahoma Governor’s office, and the U.S. Air Force. |

One thing Jody Jones likes about his job at OC is that the atmosphere allows him to put his family first. “I enjoy helping students develop both professionally and spiritually,” he says. When it comes to academics, he is interested in helping students with their university experience. He is also interested in school funding. Jones is a sponsor for the student organization SIFE, making him quite an asset to OC. He is married to Lisa, and has three children: Tristen, Beaux, and Belle. He attends Wilshire Church of Christ and is a College Minister. In his spare time he enjoys hunting and fishing. |

Elaine D. Kelly is a Certified Public Accountant, and she is interested in promoting strong ethical standards in business. She works at OC because she enjoys the Christian atmosphere and fellowship. Kelly was the Gaylord Chair from 1999-2000, she is presently the J.J. Millican Chair in Accounting, and she has received the Merrick Award for teaching excellence. Kelly is a sponsor for the Accounting Club, and is the scholarship coordinator for the School of Business. She enjoys volunteering at the Special Olympics, and at the Edmond Library. She is married to Dennis, and has three children: Denise, Allison, and Kelsey. Her favorite memory of OC was watching her daughter Allison graduate. Kelly attends Memorial Road Church of Christ where she is a Bible class teacher, a member of the HIM mission committee, and she is involved in the finance ministry. |

Dr. Lewis studies, teaches and writes about ethics and leadership. He wrote the book Transformational Leadership published by Broadman & Holman, Nashville. He is active in the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, is a past officer in ACBSP and is a member of the Christian Business Faculty Association. Dr. Lewis works at OC “to make a difference in the lives of undergraduate and graduate students” and “to impact the business programs for the future.” He enjoys traveling and reading, and he is a member of the Edmond Rotary Club. His wife is Marilyn and they have two sons: Brook and Blair. He attends Memorial Road Church of Christ where he is a Bible class teacher. |

Mr. Paul says that he works at OC because, “I love to teach, and I love my students. OC is a great Christian Ed. institution.” He has a SAS (Statistical Application System) programming certification, a COBOL and BASIC certifications. Paul is one of the Adult Bible Class Teachers at South Mac Church in Irving, Texas. He is interested in Globalization/International Business Management. Paul published his article “Four-wheels of Business Organizations” in the Air-port Magazine. He is a member of The Data Warehousing Institute. Paul was a university track and field athlete: Javelin throwing and 400m hurdles. His wife is Pramoda works with Dallas County Community College District as International Students Advisor. His son, Sudershan (Joe) Paul attends Pepperdine and intends to additionally get an Engineering degree from OC. |

Dr. Roper has been a part of the OC community for the past 8 years. She enjoys working at OC because the university is committed to maintaining a strong connection to the heritage of faith it was founded on. She also greatly enjoys working with her colleagues in the School of Business because “we are a family”. Dr. Roper was the sponsor for the Lead Like Jesus Team, and is now working with the newly formed chapter of the American Marketing Association. She has been happily married to her husband, Randy for over 16 years, and they have a son named Riley. Dr. Roper attends Edmond Church of Christ. She is a Bible class teacher for the Toddlers, and she is involved in the Mexico Spring-Break mission trip, and the Quiet Place ministry. Her research interests focus on the use of technology in higher education, and how it impacts student satisfaction. |

Dr. Smith is the author of the book The Great Game of Networking and an accomplished entrepreneur. He is a Certified Marketing Executive, Certified Quality Manager, and a Professional Certified Marketer. He is the past president of the American Marketing Association (AMA), and a former board member for the OKC Chamber of Commerce. He was the founding Certification Chair of the Sales and Marketing Executives International, and is a board member for the National Speakers Association. Dr. Smith is a National Chapter Excellence Award Winner, and was among 39 Oklahomans honored in the Journal Record’s “Achievers Under 40” Centennial Class. His academic interests include: organizational design, marketing management, strategy, small business, branding, and customer satisfaction. Dr. Smith is the co-sponsor for the Marketing Student Advisory Council and the student AMA chapter. He says he works at OC “because I love serving the mission. I really feel called to be here.” Dr. Smith is also a Champion Auctioneer and has helped raise over $300,000 for charities across Oklahoma and Texas, including the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
