Graduation Requirements for the Different Majors Offered
Accounting - The accounting major prepares the student for a career in the field of private or public accounting with a firm grasp of the business world. Students take classes in the business core, plus classes specific to accounting. It also prepares the student to take the Certified Public Accountant Exam.
General Business - General Business Majors receive a well rounded education in all areas of business. Students focus primarily on Accounting, Management, Marketing, and Finance. All General Business Majors will be well prepared to enter a variety of positions in the world of business.
Business Management - Management Majors will learn all the skills to make them effective leaders throughout all levels of business. Students focus on economics, human resources, organizational behavior, accounting, and many other important areas of business. All management majors will leave Oklahoma Christian with all the necessary skills to succeed in today's business world.
Business Marketing - Marketing majors study the general principles of marketing including advertising, sales promotion, price, and products that are sold. A marketing major also gives you a background in accounting, as well as entailing a strong balance of management and finance. A capstone course involving all studies of business with an emphasis on marketing is required during your senior year.

One thing Jody Jones, Professor of Business, likes about his job at OC is that the atmosphere allows him to put his family first.
