Mission Statement

The Department of Mathematical, Computer, and Information Sciences is dedicated to preparing a graduate who will be the heart of these disciplines and of society in the 21st century.

Core Values

In the MCIS department, we are dedicated to preparing students who are well grounded in the mathematical and theoretical foundations of technology, enabling them to apply these timeless principles to the rapidly changing environment they will face upon graduation. We feel it is critical for students to develop the problem solving and lifelong learning skills so highly valued by employers. Yet, at Oklahoma Christian, our goal is to provide an education that goes beyond just technical excellence. We strive to develop a well-rounded student who can communicate effectively, work in a team environment to solve real problems, and exhibit the highest standards of character and ethics that are so desperately needed in today's world.
