Pi Sigma Alpha

Good Times for Smart Students!!

The Delta Rho chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, National Political Science Honors Society, was founded in October 2006.  The chapter has been particularly active in the Model Arab League, an intercollegiate competition of research and debate.  In April, 2011, the Southwest Regional competition was held at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. Oklahoma Christian University’s team, consisting of Emmalee Mattern, Diego Burke, Jeremy Pitcher, Tony Kajangwe, Aimee Furrie, Genesis Rodriguez, Brandon McWaters, Ben Petersen, and Ashley Weber, came in 2nd place, one point behind Northeastern University who won the nationals the week before.

At the 2012 Southwest Regional, OC Team won Overall Outstanding Delegation, 4 of 5 committees won Outstanding Delegation, and 8 of 10 students won Outstanding Delegate.  The team was comprised of Genesis Rodriguez-Head Delegate, Tony Kajangwe, Lyndsey Gambrell, Allison Cade, Afton Paris, Tyler Parette, Brandon McWaters, Nathan Robeck, Lynneth Miller, and Dillon Byrd.
