Steve Maher says, "I want to teach bright young Christians, especially those who are good at math and science, to become great, even world-class, engineers. I love the college environment. I love working with young people." He studies integrated circuit design, debug and failure analysis, and engineering economics and management. Maher is in the Electronic Device Failure Analysis Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He enjoys coach youth basketball, traveling, reading, doing puzzles, and playing the tuba. He also really enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa, and his three children, Marisa, Elizabeth, and Daniel. Maher attends Memorial Road Church of Christ where he serves as a Bible class teacher and a Journeyland aide.
