Thanks in advance for helping us make this a valuable event for future educators!
Also, this semester, SPOE will be sponsoring a food drive for colleges of education all over the state from March 7 (the date of the SPOE State Conference) until March 30. To culminate the food drive, we will have a work day for SPOE members at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma on March 31. The Food Bank organizes the backpack program for needy students, and we want to help support those efforts by giving our time and food donations.
If your college would like to participate in the food drive, please let me know as soon as possible so I can deliver the official Regional Food Bank collection box to your college. This will allow the food to be picked up by the Food Bank after the drive ends. There is no cost to participate, so we hope you will all join us in supporting hungry kids. Thank you!
P.S. – If you are not familiar with Professional Oklahoma Educators (POE), the parent organization of SPOE, please visit our website at www.ProfessionalOklahomaEducators.org.
