• NURS-2003 Health Assessment

  Course focuses on the nursing process and the performance of clinical diagnosis. Students will learn to assess the client-s physical, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions as a foundation to nursing care. The skills of interviewing, documentation, inspection, percussion, palpation, and auscultation are refined to make clinical judgments and promote positive health client outcomes. Lecture - 2 hours; Clinical - 1 hour. This course is normally offered in the fall semester.
